After graduating law school from William & Mary, Mark G. Capron practiced in Pensacola, Florida, focusing on personal injury and workers' compensation litigation. Moving to Lakeland in 1998, Mr. Capron expanded on that practice at a large, established firm in a wide array of civil litigation cases, including employment discrimination, civil rights, medical malpractice, personal injury and workers' compensation. Mark G. Capron joined Smith, Feddeler in 2000 in cases of personal injury, wrongful death, workers' compensation and employment discrimination. After ten years representing injured persons and families, Mr. Capron operated his own practice for eight years, continuing to represent personal injury victims, families in wrongful death matters, persons injured at work and persons facing discrimination at work or wrongfully terminated. With a heart for broken families, he included in his practice representation of those involved in the matters of divorce, child support, dependency or other family legal practices. He also served as a court-appointed attorney for children removed from their families. Recently, he returned to Smith, Feddeler, Smith to continue his passion for persons and families in crisis, fighting for their fair and full recovery in the litigation process. He joined the firm first in 2000, and again in 2018.
Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their family, involving themselves in all manner of activities. His wife works for the Guardian Ad Litem, and the two minister to broken families through the foster care system, the church and a non-profit organization they serve.
